Silviu is an architectural designer who enjoys translating people’s visions into real world, functional, beautiful and comfortable spaces.
He does this the classical way, by speaking to his clients at length about their needs and then sketching out on multiple overlays of yellow tracing paper until the image he creates fits his interpretation of their vision.
Hand sketching is, simultaneously, a graphical and mental process – it allows him to always see, in his mind’s eye, the entire the space; the plasticity of manual drawing engages his imagination and creativity as well as his rational thought.
This is an iterative process, which brings him and the client progressively closer to a final solution that is the basis of a complete project.
